Pay to Participate
Extracurricular activities like athletics, music, theater, and after-school clubs are an important part of a well-rounded education. However, these activities come with costs that go beyond the academic budget, including transportation, uniforms, equipment, and more.
To help cover these expenses, Seneca Valley School District implemented activity fees in the 2011-12 school year. Similar to other school districts our size, we have a per-family maximum, or cap, for each activity category. You can find more details about the fees and caps in the linked form below.
Students who qualify for the free and reduced lunch program will have their fees waived upon verification. Please remember that you must reapply for the free and reduced lunch program each year to maintain eligibility.

Drug Testing
Seneca Valley requires all students who participate in extracurricular activities be drug tested through your student’s building’s office. If your student refuses to be tested, they will not be allowed to practice or participate in the activity. If your student has not already undergone drug testing, please download the form below.
